Policy on storing propane and natural gas fuelled vehicles
Policy on vehicles fuelled by liquid propane gas (LPG) or compressed natural gas (CNG) stored in ICBC facility.
Eligibility
The policy applies to any vehicle fuelled by LPG or CNG, whether damaged or not.
When it applies
The policy applies to storage
- overnight
- on weekends, or
- on holidays.
Policy
Vehicles fuelled by liquid propane gas (LPG) or compressed natural gas (CNG) must not be stored inside ICBC buildings on corporate property
- overnight
- on weekends, or
- during holidays.
Note: The Estimating Services Manager is responsible for enforcing this policy.
Rationale
This policy is in effect to limit fire and explosion hazards.
