When this applies
The claim owner has reviewed the claim and consulted with the estimator concerning the inconsistent damage and contacts the customer to provide options for handling the claim.
Procedure

Contact the customer, explaining why the damage is inconsistent with hit and run damage. .

- a single vehicle collision claim, or
- a comprehensive cause of loss claim.
