When this applies

Tow companies require a set of instructions which include details about a vehicle before the vehicle is towed.

Procedure

Contact the tow company
Tow companies may be contacted by
- e-mail
- External Tow Dispatch Request form (WEB1075)
- fax
- phone, or
- tow company internal system.
Provide the following information:
- tow requestor and resource number
- vehicle location
- claim number
- tow origin and destination
- date of loss
- customer name, and
- vehicle
  - year
  - make
  - model
  - color, and
  - VIN.
