Required personal protective equipment

ICBC representatives can reduce their exposure to potential contaminants when working with contaminated vehicles by wearing personal protective equipment.

Any ICBC representative required to work in proximity to a contaminated vehicle must wear the following protective clothing:

  • dust mask (N95)
  • eye protection/safety goggles
  • latex gloves, and
  • long sleeves (shirt, jacket, etc.).
