Select a tow company from the tow rotation list

Steps for using the claim centre tow rotation list to select a tow company.

Prerequisites

Before you select a tow company from the tow rotation list, you must

  • identify the tow type as non-captive, and
  • identify the tow destination.

When this applies

When a tow is a non-captive tow, use the claim centre tow rotation list to select a tow company to perform the vehicle tow.

A tow rotation list is created and managed by the Supplier Programs & Administration department.

Procedure

  1. Select the next available tow company on the tow rotation list.
  2. Determine whether the selected tow company is able to meet the tow service requirements.
    If the selected tow company is ... Then ...
    able to meet tow service requirements continue with the tow arrangements.
    unable to meet tow service requirements assign the tow request to the next company on the tow rotation list.
