In-stock parts policy

Policy on when collision repair facility or glass repair facility can use in-stock parts for an ICBC claim.

Policy

When a collision repair facility or glass repair facility has a part in stock that will be used in the repair of an ICBC claim, the facility must

  • obtain prior approval from an ICBC Estimator, and
  • provide and submit proof of the source of the part (the donor vehicle Identification number (VIN) or registration) with the Estimate or Appraisal for payment.
