Steps to review an evidence analysis report depending on what is in the sample, and how to determine claim disposition based on the evidence analysis report. Applies to claims with a date of loss (DOL) on or before April 30, 2021.
Prerequisites
- The customer has a DOL on or before April 30, 2021.
- The customer returned a completed and notarized Application for Payment Under the Insurance (Vehicle) Act Section 24 – Hit and Run (CL45).
When this applies
When the claim owner or exposure owner has received the completed and notarized CL45, sent out samples of the damage for analysis to determine if damage is consistent with an unidentified motorist collision, and received the evidence analysis report.
