Definition of the Central Estimating Facility (CEF).
Definition
CEF is a facility that handles:
- the estimating function of most not driveable vehicles for Lower Mainland claim centres, and
- total loss settlements for most claim centres.
Hours of operation
Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., and doors are open from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., 7 days per week, except Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Note: ICBC employees must call ahead before sending customers to CEF, ensuring staff are on-hand to meet the customer's needs.
