Guidelines for standards of performance on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) surplus parts for repair facilities.
Standards of performance
All repair facilities using OEM surplus parts must meet all these standards of performance:
| Requirement | Standard of performance |

| Mitchell Cloud Estimating (MCE) parts search | The repair facility must search for OEM surplus parts based on the information provided by the MCE database. |
| Use of non-MCE suppliers | If the repair facility purchases a part from a supplier not listed on ICBC's MCE database, the repair facility assumes any and all warranty for the part. |
| Repair verification | The repair facility must verify with ICBC that the vehicle repairs will proceed prior to ordering any parts. |
