Fire risk hazards for a vehicle

The list of indicators that determine fire risk hazards on a vehicle.

Fire risk can be determined by visually inspecting a vehicle.

Risk of fire is present

where any of the following exist:
- exposed or damaged wires
- visible arcing
- ignition in the ON position
- lights that are permanently in the ON position, and
- leaking fuels or A/C systems, or
where the opinion of the Estimating Services manager or designate is that a risk of fire otherwise exists.
