Total loss settlement dispute policy

The original claim owner assigned to settle a customer's total loss must also handle any resulting total loss settlement disputes raised by the customer.

Applicability

When a customer disputes their total loss settlement amount, the original claim owner must
  • discuss the settlement with the customer to address their questions or concerns, and
  • obtain their manager's review of the settlement upon the customer's request for a review.
