Steps to calculate the finish, sand, and buff labour time in Mitchell Cloud Estimating (MCE).
When this applies
The estimator must select the finish, sand, and buff on a vehicle which qualifies for finish sand and buff refinish operations.
Procedure

Inspect the condition of the finish to ensure it warrants a finish, sand, and buff operation.

Select the Finish, Sand, and Buff line in the Additional Operations tab of the Mitchell Ref Sheet to calculate the total labour time.

Apply the total labour time to the Colour, Sand and Buff line in the Templates section.

Delete the Mitchell Finish, Sand and Buff line from the estimate.
Note: Failure to delete the Mitchell Finish, Sand, and Buff line from the estimate results in a payment error.
