A collision repair program participant must document parts in stock used for ICBC claims.

Description

When a participant has a part marked in stock that will be used in the repair of an ICBC claim, the participant must document the following.

Documentation What the participant must store
Image of the part A digital image of the replacement part beside the part being replaced.
Proof of source
Supporting documentation showing the source of the part, such as the
  • donor vehicle identification number (VIN)
  • vehicle registration number, or
  • original invoice if part of a kit, etc.
