Step on initiating a commercial repair estimate for a non-drivable vehicle.
When this applies
Initiating an repair estimate on a commercial vehicle which is non-drivable involves arranging towing, determining the best estimating strategy and creating the Manual Estimate.
Procedure

Retrieve the assigned EST - Estimate Vehicle - Non-Drive activity from ClaimCenter.
Note: These are assigned to the claim centre estimator or appraiser.

Review the following in ClaimCenter:
- vehicle location
- customer's choice of repair facility, and
- vehicle incident details.
Note: The customer may choose a Direct Truck Repair (DTR) facility, or a non-Direct Truck Repair (non-DTR) facility.

Determine the estimating strategy.

authorize the facility to complete the repair estimate. |

ICBC completes the repair estimate. |

Perform the following, if vehicle needs to be towed:
- create a Request Vehicle Tow activity
- assign to the Tow Support Queue
- identify the Location as 004-Commercial Claims, and
- inform repair facility of pending vehicle arrival.

Create a Manual Estimate from ClaimCenter.
Note: This is done when an ICBC estimator or appraiser completes the repair estimate.

Attend the location of the vehicle to complete the repair estimate.
