Apply loaner parts to a Commercial claim estimate
The Commercial Collision repair program participant applies the loaner hood and/or loaner bumper remove and install within Mitchell Cloud Estimating for the utilization of the loaner parts supplied during the repair process.
Prerequisites
The damaged motor vehicle has a damaged hood or bumper requiring replacement or repair.
When this applies
When loaner hood and/or loaner bumper parts are utilized during the repair process to keep the commercial vehicle drivable while repairs are being performed, or parts are on order by the repair facility, the loaner hood and/or loaner bumper remove and install can be applied to the estimate within Mitchell Cloud Estimating.Note: The remove and install can only be applied when a loaner hood and/or loaner bumper parts are supplied by the Commercial Collision repair program participant and must be accompanied by photo documentation when the customer is
- not responsible for the crash, and
- has purchased loss of use coverage.
Procedure
- Navigate to the estimate and click the Parts icon in the side bar.
- Select: My templates > 01 standard.
- Navigate to 01 standard menu.
- Select: LOANER HOOD and/or LOANER BUMPER and add line.
- Attach an explanation line note to the Templates line.
Results
The loaner parts have been applied to the estimate.
