Partner disclaimer for rental vehicles
A customer's rental vehicle policy limits must be considered when determining a customer's rental vehicle needs.
ICBC rental rate documents contain examples of vehicle makes and models that correspond with rental rates by vehicle class. There may be other rental vehicles offered by our preferred rental suppliers.
Customers who wish to rent a specialty vehicle, that is a vehicle not included in ICBC's rate schedule, may be required to pay additional charges which will not be covered by ICBC. Examples of specialty vehicles include the Mini Cooper, Smart Fortwo, and BMW 7 Series.
Customer communication
Advise the customer that the rental vehicle will be a comparable class size to the vehicle they own. It is within ICBC's discretion to determine the type of rental vehicle.
