Definition
Bumper retexturing is a refinish procedure through which the repair facility recreates the textured surface on a portion of a damaged bumper.
Refinish time
Bumper retexturing requires additional time over and above regular refinishing listed in Mitchell Cloud Estimating (MCE). When the textured portion of the bumper is being repaired, an additional refinish time is allowed for retexturing prior to painting.
