Estimators must assign the estimating activity to the specialty vehicle appraisal (SVA) unit when the claim meets the criteria.
Criteria
Estimators must assign the estimating activity to the specialty vehicle appraisal (SVA) unit when the
- claim is for a vehicle with a Special Risk Own Damage Policy (APV274)
- claim is for a vehicle where coverage is provided under ICBC's
- Multi-Vehicle License and Certificate of Insurance (APV317), or
- Vintage Motor Vehicle Certificate (APV44), and
- vehicle meets specialty vehicle criteria as provided in the Vehicle list for the specialty vehicle appraisal (SVA) unit, and is a potential total loss.
