Definition
A tow rotation list contains the required information that enables the assignment of non-captive tows to tow companies.
A tow rotation list:
- lists the tow companies that are within an ICBC claim centre service area, and
- is created and regularly maintained by the Supplier Programs & Administration department.
Tow rotation list use
A tow rotation list is used to:
- track the tow companies that are within an ICBC claim centre service area, and
- aid tow administrators in selecting a tow company to perform a non-captive vehicle tow.
Tow rotation list example
Each tow company with a valid ICBC supplier number is entered on the claim centre tow rotation list according the total number of tow vehicles that are registered to a specific ICBC claim centre and/or community.
The following table illustrates a claim centre tow rotation list showing ABC tow company having five licensed and insured tow vehicles to XYZ tow company's one licensed and insured tow vehicle, respectively.
