Policy on supplement changes requiring the repair program participant to contact ICBC

There are specific changes to a supplement for which the repair program participant must contact the original estimator, prior to submitting the supplement to ICBC.

Policy

Participants must contact the original estimator prior to submitting a supplement to ICBC if changes are required to any of the following items:

appearance allowance
depreciation, or
noted old or unrelated damage.

Under no circumstance is a participant to remove these items or notes regarding these items from an estimate.

Note: Any required changes to these items are made by the original estimator or their assigned designate.
