Large rental vehicles
Pickup trucks up to 1/2 ton in size and higher gross vehicle weight (GVW) vehicles are available through ICBC's preferred rental vehicle suppliers, Budget Car and Truck Rentals and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Customer requests for very large vehicles
A customer may request a vehicle larger than a standard 1/2 ton pickup truck, such as a 3/4 ton, one ton, or higher GVW vehicle.
Standard Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches provide pickup trucks up to 1/2 ton in size. Depending on location and availability 3/4 ton, one ton, and larger GVW vehicles may also be available. All pickup truck classes and larger vehicles require at least 24 hours notice to confirm availability.
Budget Car and Truck Rentals locations offer 1/2 ton pickup truck class, 3/4 and one ton 4x4 crew cab and super cab vehicles. However, only the 1/2 ton pickup truck class is guaranteed to be available with the 24 hours' notice.
If a customer requires a vehicle larger than a standard 1/2 ton pickup truck, they must contact a preferred rental supplier in their area to determine availability and if their rental needs can be accommodated.
