Repair estimate two year limitation period

Collision, commercial, and glass repair program participants must follow guidelines for claims that are close to the two year limitation period from the date of loss (DOL).

ICBC claims are subject to a two year limitation period from the DOL. The limitation date is the day two years after the DOL

Claims close to or past the limitation date

When a repair program participant intends to proceed with repairs for a claim that is nearing, or beyond, the limitation date, the actions that the participant and ICBC take are based on where the claim is in relation to the limitation end date and the possibility of repairs being performed before the end of the limitation period.
