ICBC has environmental commitments to meet.
Applicability
ICBC meets its environmental commitments by
- complying with applicable environmental laws and industry practices, and expects the same of its contractors
- identifying and managing environmental risks to reduce the environmental impact of its operations
- integrating environmental protection measures into its business activities
- committing to being prepared for environmental emergencies
- using energy and materials wisely to conserve natural resources and reduce waste
- training all employees on their responsibility to protect the environment, and
- monitoring its activities and continually improves its environmental performance.
