Tire replacement considerations

A list of criteria to review before determining whether to replace undamaged tires as part of a claim.

OEM and tire manufacturer recommendations

When one or more tires are damaged as a result of an ICBC claim, the vehicle’s Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or tire manufacturer may recommend the tires be replaced in sets of two or four. This ensures tires installed on the same axle meet OEM specifications and/or recommendations.
