Policy

Replacement of parts or panels must use approved and/or recommended Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) materials and procedures.

When a part or panel is replaced … Then ICBC …
  • using an approved structural adhesive
  • the procedure is an approved and/or recommended OEM procedure, and
  • using OEM approved welding
 will pay the Estimate or Appraisal.
using a structural adhesive or procedure that is not OEM approved will not pay the Estimate or Appraisal until the panel or part is replaced using the approved OEM procedure.
