Redirect a child car seat received at a claim centre

Redirect an old child car seat received at a claim centre.

Procedure

1. Cut the safety straps to prevent reuse of the child car seat.
2. Track the existence of the received child car seat in the Location Tracking section of the customer's claim.
   Note: For further information, refer to the procedure, Add the vehicle items and non-vehicle items.
3. Transfer the child car seat to a storage area at the claim centre.

   If a total loss vehicle is ...	Then ...
   available to transport the child car seat	place the child car seat in the total loss vehicle for transport to Salvage for disposal.
   not available	do not send the child car seat to salvage, dispose on site.
