Specialty Vehicle Appraisal (SVA) region overview

Definition of the Specialty Vehicle Appraisal (SVA) department and the SVA region within the Collision Repair Program.

Specialty vehicle appraisal (SVA) region

The SVA region exists to ensure that program participants who repair a high volume of SVA vehicles are measured against other repair facilities with a similar vehicle work mix.

To qualify for the SVA region, a participant's work mix volume must include at least 50% of the following vehicles

ICBC reviews all participants vehicle work mix at the annual static tier date to determine eligibility for the SVA region. If a participant believes their facility may be eligible to the SVA region due to a change in work mix in between tiering dates, they should speak with the Account Services representative.
