Terminate ICBC supplier number
A list of circumstances where ICBC suppliers may be terminated.
Termination of supplier
ICBC reserves the right to terminate a supplier who does not meet the ICBC supplier requirements.
The termination of the supplier may happen when the supplier:
- is not meeting or maintaining the minimum supplier requirements
- fails to complete a safe and quality vehicle repair
- makes an intentional, negligent or fraudulent misrepresentation to ICBC, or to any of its customers
Note: This misrepresentation to ICBC is to the services performed or the parts supplied to the motor vehicle for which ICBC has requested for payment.
- signs the Estimate or Appraisal indicating the repairs are satisfactory on behalf of the vehicle owner, or the vehicle owner’s representative
- processes a payment request for another company that has not been qualified for a supplier number, or whose supplier number was withdrawn, including any franchised or otherwise linked businesses
- processes a payment request for repairs that they have not received approval to complete
- fails to maintain a current ICBC Garage Automobile Policy
- fails to collect from the vehicle owner any and all deductible amounts
- breaches other corporate policy or business ethics
- unauthorized use of ICBC’s proprietary marks
- if there is any majority change to ownership of supplier, or legal name change, or
- the account number is not used in a twelve (12) month period.
