Part mark-up policy
When ICBC authorizes a part mark-up on a Estimate or Appraisal form.
Policy
ICBC authorizes the following part mark-up on claims.
When the available price … | There is no ... |
---|---|
is discounted for less than retail price | no mark-up. |
is not discounted from the retail price to any buyers | a 10% mark-up. |
Note: The participant can mark up to 10 percent on the price of parts, when
- parts are not available for less than retail price, and
- it is replaced due to other repairs completed at the repair facility.
Note: Parts pricing on the estimate may be below retail pricing, but not below parts suppliers or participants cost.
