Invoice for storage facility access
The applicable charges to invoice, and invoice requirements for Storage Facility Access (SFA).
Applicable charges
An ICBC representative may need to attend a tow supplier storage facility yard and/or building to
- view and/or take photographs of a vehicle
- estimate the vehicle damage
- collect a vehicle's licence plates, and/or
- remove personal belongings from a vehicle.
The tow supplier storage facility yard is permitted to charge ICBC a Storage Facility Access (SFA) fee on a Towing Invoice (CL14C) form.
SFA fee invoice requirements
The SFA fee invoice requirements includes
- one day of storage charged at the
- designated supplier business type
- applicable zone, and
- applicable vehicle daily storage rate
- each vehicle being viewed and/or estimated by ICBC on site at the tow supplier storage facility yard and/or building, and
- a standalone item, itemized as SFA in the "No. of Days" field on the CL14C form.
