Tow dispatch

Definition of a tow dispatch by ICBC.

A tow dispatch is a request for a continuous tow from the vehicle location to a specified destination.

When the vehicle arrives at the specified destination and the repair facility requests it not to be unloaded, then the tow company may choose to return and unload the vehicle at their storage facility (yard and/or building).

Appropriate towing and storage charges will apply when the vehicle is taken back to a storage facility (yard and/or building). ICBC must be updated of any destination tow changes by the tow facility.

Note: It is at the discretion of the tow company to deliver the vehicle to a second destination, when the repair facility changes the original drop off destination.
