Private or auction house sale vehicles for glass claims

Policy

Glass claims must only be submitted by the insured named in the policy in effect at the time of loss.

Vehicles sold privately, or through an auction house must have all claims initiated, and work completed, prior to the sale taking place.

Exceptions

Glass claims which are outstanding on lease return vehicles and trade-in vehicles may be eligible to be claimed by the lease company or dealer under specific conditions.
