Handle Glass Estimate from ineligible supplier

Steps to handle Glass Estimate (CL14B) form from ineligible ICBC suppliers.

When this applies

The Glass Estimate is used by the Glass Repair facilities to present glass estimates. The glass repair facilities have an ICBC supplier number assigned to them.

When an ineligible facility has submitted a CL14B for payment, the Provincial Glass Operation (PGO) representative handles the situation.

Procedure

  1. Discuss the situation with your manager.
  2. Contact the repair facility.

    Advise the repair facility that:

    • the CL14B form is not acceptable, and
    • ICBC is returning the CL14B form to them.
  3. Create notes in the repair facility discussion and final decisions on file.
  4. Return the CL14B form unpaid to the repair facility.
