Frame allowances

Truck frame repair times are used when labour hours need to be applied to repair the frame damage on a commercial and heavy equipment vehicle or component.

The following lists the allowance for each repair operation.

Frame diamond - including loosen cross members 10.0
Frame sag - per rail 7.0

Frame rail roll with insert - if accessible 8.0
Frame rail Webb bulge - if accessible 3.0
Frame rail flange stretched - if accessible 1.5
Frame rail crack 3.0
Check rear housing - including remove and install axles and sight check (each) 1.0
Check fifth wheel head and jaw including steam cleaning 4.0
Repair rear differential housing (minimum time stripped).
Note: The flat rate labour to remove and replace all necessary components (to assist repairs) is additional.
