Responsibility for the customer’s transportation needs

Collision repair program participants are responsible for ensuring the Alternative Transportation Service (ATS) meets the needs of the customer.

ATS responsibility

Participants must use ATS to satisfy the alternative transportation requirements of customers who have an authorized estimate or a qualified claim.

To fulfill their ATS responsibilities, participants must
  • speak with the customer to determine the alternative transportation requirements, and
  • determine a solution that satisfies the alternative transportation needs of the customer during the repair process.
