Alternative Transportation Service compensation
Subject to exceptions, collision repair program participants are compensated for providing customers with transportation as outlined in Alternative Transportation Service (ATS) sections of the Collision Repair Program Guide.
When the participant provides a courtesy vehicle to the customer, an hourly rate is applied as outlined below. When the participant satisfies the customer's transportation needs without providing a vehicle, a set allowance per claim is applicable.
ATS calculations
When the participant satisfies the alternative transportation requirements of the customer under ATS, the following compensation applies:

ATS vehicle reimbursement
In specific scenarios, the collision repair program participant may be eligible to charge ICBC for additional ATS compensation through ATS vehicle reimbursement when they provide a replacement vehicle to the customer during repairs.

Application of taxes
GST and PST apply to ATS compensation and is automatically calculated. If the customer is a GST registrant or is PST exempt, the customer's portion of the taxes is automatically calculated based on the tax information entered into MCE.
