Apply additional two tone refinish time to a repair estimate.

Prerequisites

A collision repair program participant identified that a vehicle’s refinish process requires additional two tone refinish.

When this applies

Mitchell Cloud Estimating does not automatically apply two-tone to all eligible panels when two tone is selected in the Vehicle Admin screen, therefore, Additional two tone is required to be applied to the repair estimate.

Procedure

Navigate to the repair repair estimate in Mitchell Cloud Estimating.

Click the Parts icon.
Select reference sheet then navigate to Additional Operations and select Refinish.
Select: Additional Two Tone.

Apply a manual calculation.

If two tone is being applied to...	Then apply a manual calculation by adding ...
the first panel	0.5 (50 percent) per refinish hour.
an additional panel to the first panel	0.3 (30 percent) per refinish hour.

Add an explanation to the line.

Examples: Two tone is applied to a bumper. The refinishing time is 2.6 hours, and because it is the first panel, a manual calculation is done to apply the additional 50 percent.; Two tone is applied to a bumper, and other panels. The refinishing time is 2.6 hours, and because there are additional panels, a manual calculation is to done apply the additional 30 percent.
