Add the additional materials allowance to an estimate

The repair program participant applies the additional materials allowance for the cost of materials or parts used during repairs.

When this applies

When additional materials or parts are required during the repair process, the additional materials allowance is entered through Mitchell Cloud Estimating (MCE).
Note: For more information on materials covered under the allowance, refer to Body repair material allowances.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the estimate and click the Parts icon in the side bar.
  2. Select: My Templates > 01 Standard.
  3. Navigate to 01 Standard menu.
  4. Select: Additional Materials and add line.
  5. Enter the total units and total price before taxes.
  6. Attach an explanation line note to the Templates line.
    Explanation line note example: Lt Quarter replacement required 1.5 cartridges of panel adhesive
    Note: Requires Review is not required for additional material allowances. The quantity of materials or parts entered on the estimate must reflect what was required to complete the repair.
