Additional materials allowance
Additional materials are materials that are not included in the standard material allowance, but are required to complete a repair or replace operation and are specified within an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) repair procedure. These items are charged individually as parts, as long as they meet the specified conditions.
Equivalent aftermarket products can be used and billed for in place of OEM recommended or required products when the aftermarket option meets applicable standards.
