Pricing for participant sourced alternate parts policy
A repair program participant can bill at competitive retail pricing, not exceeding 75% of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) MSRP, for alternate parts sourced outside of the pre-priced parts listed within the estimating platform.
Repair participants must meet requirements set out in Standards of performance for repair facilities on aftermarket parts.
These include but are not limited to parts such as, upper/lower control arms, tie end rods, O2 sensors, mufflers, and catalytic converters.
Refer to the topic, Part mark-up policy, for more information on parts.
Note: If delivery delays impact Loss of Use (LOU) and Alternative Transportation Service (ATS), potentially charging above the pricing limits is acceptable in this instance, if it is accompanied by a line remark supporting the decision.
