Budget rental rates for select South Interior regions

ICBC pays replacement vehicle daily rental rates for Budget Car and Truck Rentals (Budget) for the East Kootenays, Kamloops-Merritt, Kelowna, North Okanagan- Shuswap, South Okanagan, and West Kelowna-Peachland regions including branches in Cranbrook, Kamloops, Kelowna, Penticton, Salmon Arm, Vernon, and West Kelowna.

Daily rental rates

The following vehicle classes are available for the corresponding daily rental rates effective from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2029.

Note:

A Vehicle Licensing Fee (VLF) and Energy Recovery Fee of $0.57 per transaction day is permitted in addition to the schedule rates.
A winter tire fee of $12.00 per transaction day is charged for vehicle rentals where winter tires are supplied. Three-peak mountain snowflake symbol winter tires are available in all regions.
Unlimited kilometre (km)s for all passenger vehicles. Vehicles denoted by an asterisk (*) in the table are limited to 200 kilometres included per day with a charge of $0.30 per additional km per day.
