Exceptions for taxi refinishing and blend allowances.

Exceptions

Refinishing for taxis is generally paid at the same rates as for other vehicles, using Mitchell Cloud Estimating (MCE). Two exceptions relate to inner paint and blends, as follows:

When this refinish is required ...	And the vehicle ...	Then ...
inner paint	is a factory colour has been painted and warranted, or is viewed at the repair facility	the refinish is allowed.
inner paint	is not a factory colour warranted, and viewed at the repair facility	the refinish is not allowed.
a blend	is painted factory colour	the blend is allowed.
a blend	is painted fleet (non-factory) colour	the blend is not allowed.
