Repair program facility employee storage information policy

ICBC is authorized under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act to collect certain personal information from collision, glass, and commercial repair program facility employees.

Policy

ICBC collects personal information for the purposes of
  • qualifying the repair facility as a repair program participant, and
  • reviewing staff qualifications.

Methods of information collection

Program participants collect personal information from all their employees on behalf of ICBC and store it on the Entegral platform.

Information collected

Employee information is
  • stored in Entegral, and
  • accessible to ICBC employees that handle program administration and performance.
Participants entering ownership information and staff qualifications in Entegral must advise employees working on ICBC claims that the information is shared with ICBC. All hard copies of personal information are stored at the repair facility.
