Estimate/appraisal form terms

List of terms and definitions in the Estimate or Appraisal.

The Estimate or Appraisal uses several terms to describe specific repair or replace related items.

Term	Definition
Original Equipment Manufacturer (Nw)	a part supplied by the original equipment manufacturer. Example: Ford or Dodge.
Aftermarket (AM)	Aftermarket means any part other than OEM. Example: Jobber or after -market parts.
Like Kind (LK)	Parts from a donor vehicle supplied by an auto recycler (auto wrecker).
Sublet	A dollar amount for a service not normally performed by the repair facility. Examples: a wheel alignment, which is done at a mechanical facility interior cleaning custom graphics lock recoding Note: Prices for each of these would be in the sublet column of the Estimate or Appraisal.
Repair Hours (RP)	The amount of time it takes to repair a panel or part on a vehicle.
Remove/Replace (RR) Hours	The amount of time it takes to remove the old part and replace it.
