ICBC has entered into Contracts for Services with financial firms which includes accountants and economists, who are assigned to assist with investigating financial loss claims.

Only financial firms on the approved lists can be assigned to claims, which are the following:

When claims representatives require the service of a financial professional from one of these financial firms, they retain their services through standard communication methods, by
  • contacting the firm by telephone, and
  • providing follow-up documentation by letter or email.
