Electronic handling fees

List of electronic handling fees that ICBC suppliers pay when they purchase specified products for the customer’s vehicle repairs.

Fees

ICBC suppliers do not pay the electronic handling fees on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) supplied electronic equipment.

Electronic handling fees for purchased products are in the following table:

  • In-dash compact disk (CD) and/or cassette players

  • amplifiers

  • equalizers

  • speakers

  • video player systems, and

  • video displays, including those with built in tuners.

Display devices in a recreational vehicle

$9.00 per product per 29 inch screen or smaller

$31.75 per product per 30 inch screen or greater

  • Television

  • computer monitor

  • professional display, and

  • television with built in digital video recorder (DVD) and/or video cassette recorders (VCR) player and recorder.

Home audio, video playback and/or recording systems in a recreational vehicle $3.50 per product
  • AM/FM radio

  • VCR

  • digital video recorder (DVR)

  • personal video recorder (PVR)

  • digital compact disc players or recorders (DVD, Blu-ray)

  • laser disc players or recorders

  • cable and satellite receivers, and

  • set top boxes, including digital television.

Home stereo systems or components in a recreational vehicle $3.50 per product
  • Amplifiers

  • receivers

  • CD or tape deck

  • turntables or record players

  • home speaker systems (5.1 and 7.1 speaker packages supplied without amplifier or video player, including computer multi-media speakers)

  • other digital music recorders or players

  • audio docking stations

  • analog and digital video cameras for home security or other closed circuit home use, and

  • video baby monitor systems.
